Join a community of patients and researchers working together to address pressing healthcare needs.

"I got my life back thanks to my doctors"

This storyteller describes surgery on her right and left shoulders, knees, and feet. She describes her tremendous recovery and her chance to walk again.

Story Booth brings together patients and researchers who are interested in improving health, health care, and health research. If you are a patient, a caregiver, or a clinician, we want to hear your story, in your voice. By letting us share your story, we hope to inspire health researchers to focus on topics that matter to patients and to design studies where participation is a valued and meaningful experience.

Listen to Health Stories

Do you have a story to share about what is like to be ill, to take care of someone who is unwell, to live a healthier life, or to access the healthcare system? We can help you record it over the phone!

Are you looking for partners to bring a patient or caregiver perspective to your health research team? Let us know about your work so we can help you build an effective team.

Do you want to find stories about a health problem that you or a friend are facing? Want to better understand what it is like to live with a health problem? Search the public Story Booth archive!

Story Booth can help researchers improve the relevance of their research for patients, clinicians and other key stakeholders by leveraging the power of patient-centered research to build a stakeholder-engaged team. We can help researchers, patients and caregivers with shared health interests find each other, and we offer access to tools that may help make engaged research partnerships successful. It’s quick and easy to provide information about your study through our website. Our team can use that information to reach out to individuals who are interested in participating in research and whose stories are related to your study topic.
