From here, researchers can search the entire Story Booth narrative database (while most stories are posted on the public website, some storytellers restrict their stories to researcher access).

We have two avenues for data access:

• Listen Access allows the user to identify and listen to stories. Typically, we expect that these users may draw inspiration from the narratives to inform the development of a patient-centered research question or may glean insight on patient perspectives that are helpful for planning a new grant proposal or manuscript concept. This level of access uses a simple click license to ensure that story use is consistent with the purposes for which they were recorded.
• Download Access enables users to download digital copies of specific audio files for specific scientific work. It requires approval from the Story Booth team, as well as a streamlined institutional data use agreement.
